Bariş Pehlivan, the general publishing manager at OdaTV was arrested yesterday and taken to Silivri prison in Istanbul.
He was charged for breaching a law for protecting the intelligence officer’s safety in a news that showed the secret funeral of an intelligence officer killed in Libya.
The reporter that broke the news and the chief editor of OdaTV were also arrested yesterday.
Turkey is trying to hide the fact that it transports terrorists from Syria to Libya and is attacking Libya’s independence and sovereignty. When Turkey sent very high ranking generals and officers to oversee and manage the invasion of Libya, the Hafter forces in Libya opened fire at the foreign invaders and killed several Turkish generals and intelligence officers.
Turkey did not want the fighting, involvement, and the deaths of its soldiers and intelligence officers known by its citizens so it kept the funeral a secret, until the news was broken by OdaTV.
However, the news of the fighting and the deaths had already been discussed in the National Assembly, even exposing the names of the dead.
The Turkish government immediately brought a “prevention of access” measure against OdaTV where any attempt to reach the site on the internet fails.
