Employees at the building market chain Tekzen did not receive their salaries this month. There was no announcement from the company’s headquarters, but BMS Cleaning, the subcontractor that undertook the cleaning work in Tekzen, withdrew its workers because it could not receive payment from Tekzen.

The company is also trying to keep its workers in the store under control and tries to prevent their comments on the situation to the press. Workers say the intensity of inspections has increased and everybody is under surveillance through cameras in the stores.
Cleaning workers laid off
BMS Temizlik, the subcontractor that undertakes the cleaning work in Tekzen, did not pay its workers for two months because it did not receive payment from Tekzen. The workers were withdrawn from Tekzen by the company after being placed on unpaid leave for 10 days.
