The case of the women detained by the police in front of the ferry port in Kadıköy because “they were headed off to the 20th Feminist Night March” was held at the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse in Kartal.
At today’s hearing (April 3), two more women defended themselves before the government-appointed judge. The lawyers contributed to the defense and made their cases. The prosecutor requested that the required documents be obtained before proceeding with the trial.
The case was adjourned to November 3 at 2.30 pm.
