The Nation Alliance had submitted the electoral alliance protocol to the YSK two days ago (March 22). The National Alliance is a group of opposition parties that includes the leading opposition party, the social democrat Republican Peoples Party, and the fourth largest party in the National Assembly, the Good Party (IYIP). The coalition partners are a mishmash of opposition parties that forged an alliance based on opposing President Erdogan’s “One-Man Rule” of the AKP party.
The two coalitions, the “Labor and Freedom” and “Union of Socialist Forces,” are left, socialist alliances. Labor and Freedom alliance is closer to a “Popular Front” gathering, while the “Union of Socialist Forces” seems to be more of the “United Front” type organization.
The National Alliance (Millet İttifakı) consists of the following parties:
• CHP – Republican Peoples Party
• IYIP – The Good Party
• GP – The Future Party
• DEVA – Democracy and Progress Party
• SP – Felicity Party
• DP – The Democrat Party
The coalition of the ruling AKP party is the People’s Alliance :
• AKP – Justice and Development Party

• BBP – Great Unity Party
• Huda-Par – Free Cause Party
• YRP – New Welfare Party
• SES – The Voice Party
The parties that have not joined the People’s Alliance yet giving their support:
o VP – Patriotic Party
o ANAP – Motherland Party
o ASP – The Ace Party
The coalition of the ATA ittifakı “The Ancestral Alliance”:
• ZP – Victory Party
• AP – Justice Party

Today (March 24), the Left Party, which is in talks about its participation in the elections in the Labor and Freedom Alliance, announced that it would take part in the Union of Socialist Forces. Later, it was announced that the Re-Prosperity Party would join the Republican Alliance.
