Erdal Socks and Lightning Socks workers also quit immediately after the struggle of Alpin Socks workers, who received a nearly 70 percent increase.
In Şimsek Socks, organized by Deriteks Union, the boss started to bargain by offering 5,600 TL but had to increase the offer to 6,500 TL wage when the workers insisted on more. However, the offer was not accepted. The workers, who demanded 7 thousand TL, stopped work at the factory and went on strike.
