The 42 year old worker had been killed under suspicious conditions at the plant then wrapped in a blanket and transported by the owner of the plant and three other workers
A Syrian temporary worker, Mustafa El Recep’s body was found by the roadside in Adana province of Turkey on December 17th wrapped in a blanket. He is one of many Syrian workers in Turkey who tried to survive by working any job he could find for much cheaper than the current wages.
He had nowhere to stay so he was staying at his job site where he worked on recycling plastic garbage. He had only started working there two weeks ago.
As DHA reports, the first indication was that Mustafa El Recep had been killed where his body was found. However further investigation found that he was actually killed in the plant where he worked and his body was dumped later by the road.
The 42 year old worker had been killed under suspicious conditions at the plant then wrapped in a blanket and transported by the owner of the plant and three other workers.
The owner and the workers who dumped his body said in their questioning that they did not kill the Syrian worker but found his body hanging from the ceiling. The owner did not want any harm to come to his business so with the help of other workers dumped the body by the roadside. The owner and a worker were arrested and the other two were released pending further investigation.
