Attack on TOKİ workers for demanding payment

The men hired by the contractor to build public housing attacked their workers who had not been paid for three months for demanding their wages. In the attack 10 people, 3 seriously, were injured. The seriously injured workers were hit with bullets and pellets from the pistols and guns of the hired hands. 7 other people were injured by knives and sticks.
The workers have been taken to the local hospital and police have surrounded the complex. Two people, including the contractor’s son have been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
