The Mersin University administration initiated an investigation terror against the students, replacing the previous attacks from the fascist/mafia ‘grey wolf’ thugs. The administration is investigating 75 students who are banned from entering school campus. The accusations leveled against the students involve ridiculous charges such as dancing folk dances and singing in Kurdish language, which Turkey made it legal recently in its attempt to look democratic to enter the European Union.
Only last month, the police had attacked the university students who were demonstrating against the fascist grey wolf attacks on the students. The police attack, on top of the fascist raids left several students wounded, 65 arrested and 10 students ‘wanted.’ After holding the students under detention for 3 days, 12 students were arrested. After one more ‘wanted’ student was arrested, the students under arrest rose to 13. However, the fascist/nationalist thugs who started the attacks on the university, although caught with assault weapons and knives, were not arrested by the cops.
