The TV reported that president Iajuddin Ahmed would speak to the people soon explaining the reasons behind the measure. A curfew has been put to effect from sundown to sunrise.
Rocking under political crises, the opposition in Bangladesh was demanding the postponement of the upcoming elections on January 22nd.
