Taking 12 families with them, members of the mass organization Peoples Houses went to two schools where school registration fees had increased to more than $300.00.
The family and parents of the students first met at the Peoples Houses offices where they discussed the matter with the lawyers of the organization. Then the group went to their schools, along with the officers and lawyers from the Peoples Houses.
Arguing their right to a free education, the group was able to register the students without paying any fees for the new school year. Joining the group, other families waiting for registration also demanded no payment and additional 10 families received free registration as a result of this action.
