The support for the workers fired for union organizing at the ALCO kitchenware factories is growing every day.
On the 12th day of their resistance the members of Kocaeli branch of the Peoples Houses and the popular music Group Hazal paid a visit to the resisting workers.
The Peoples houses members danced with the large group of workers, celebrating the resistance to the music played by Group Hazal. After the party and celebration, the workers of the AL-CO plant renewed their pledge to fight to the end and never to quit the struggle. Peoples Houses members also expressed their solidarity and promised that the AL-CO workers would never be left alone in their struggle.
Yücel Culha, speaking for the Peoples Houses organization said just like the poor who were fighting for free education and free health care, and just like the people whose homes had been demolished by the government and who were fighting for a humane housing, the AL-CO workers were not alone in their struggle.
