The members of the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed have staged a second demonstration in the offices of the Islamic ruling party JDP-AKP. They wanted to hang a banner condemning Israel from the ruling JDP party’s office windows. Many people believe the Islamic ruling party JDP-AKP has not taken an open and honest position against Israel’s attacks.
The Islamic ruling, Justice and Development Party (JDP-AKP) has been under harsh criticism by the people who have accused the government of double talk when it has denounced Israel’s attacks only in words while continuing its cooperation with the Israeli government.
The protestors wanted to hang an anti-Israeli banner from the offices but were met with private guards and the police.
“Murderer Israel, get out of the Middle East” “We are all Palestinians,” shouted the members of the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed as they entered the offices and were confronted by the private security guards and the police.
Turkish police immediately arrested the anti-Zionist group for staging this anti-Israeli protest.
