The Peoples Houses Organization protested the massacres in Palestine and Lebanon with the demonstrations it organized in the Bahçelievler and Sefaköy neighborhoods last Saturday, July 29th.
The first demonstration took place at Bahçelievler where the members of the Peoples Houses entered the neighborhood while distributing fliers at 6:00PM. The people on the street immediately showed support and joined in by clapping, whistling and repeating the slogans. The rally ended with a call to join the Palestinian Solidarity campaign.
The same day, the members of the same organization’s Sefaköy neighborhood branch staged another demonstration in their town and also called to join the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign.
The Peoples Houses organization will continue its demonstrations, rallies and their call for action against Israeli terror in the coming days.
Another organization, Dayanışmaevleri, held a press release rally in Bağcılar Square of Istanbul where Israel was condemned for the massacres it has been committing in both Palestine and Lebanon.
The demonstrators carried photographs of the bombed Palestinians and Lebanese and opened a banner that read, “Resistance will Win in Lebanon” The press release condemning Israeli war crimes was read to the public and to the press before the action ended.
