The People of Adana are preparing a protest rally against the aggression of Israel and the USA targeting the peoples of the Middle East on Sunday July 23rd.
The rally is being prepared by KESK (The Confederation of the Public Workers Unions), The Human Rights Association, The Peoples Houses, CHD, HKM and the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed.
Güven Boğa, the education secretary of the Teachers and Education Laborers Union, who represented all the organizations behind the protest rally gave a press conference and said, “To stop the Israel and the USA’s imperialist barbarism against the peoples of the Middle East and to call for our AKP government (Justice and Development Party’s government) to stop shedding crocodile tears and really do something meaningful we will be meeting on July 23rd at Inonu Plaza in Adana. From there we will march to Uğur Mumcu plaza where we will show our peoples’ solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
