A child worker was electrocuted in the workplace he worked in Izmir.
Nail Durak, the young worker, touched a bare electrical cable and was badly burned in Teknik Nut-and-Bolt store that sells spare parts for machinery used in construction. Nail Durak was taken to the hospital by his co-workers where he lost his life.
The father of the victim and other co-workers have expressed that the electrical cables were allowed to hang out bare in the store to reduce the cost of operating. The father said he was considering suing the bosses for the death of his son.
Nail Durak, 14, had started working at the store only a month ago to cover his school expenses for the next year.
